El Paso County, CO, February 3, 2017 –El Paso County is always moving, and a mural celebrating the many modes of transportation used over time in the region will be dedicated at its new location on Tuesday, February 7.
The History of Transportation by Steve Wood was originally installed in 2003 at the downtown transit terminal. It was designed as an educational tool for students studying history.

Where: Centennial Hall main entrance, 200 S. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs
“Our region has a long history and this mural is one way to share the story or local transportation with residents and visitors,” said Commissioner Darryl Glenn, Board of County Commissioners President. “The arts and humanities play a critical role in the lives of our families, our communities, and our country.”
