On September 18, 2011, El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 37 year old Stefanie Dickenson for sending sexually explicit text messages to a juvenile. She was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center for one count of Internet Luring of a Child, a class four felony. She posted $3,000 bond. At the time of her arrest, Ms. Dickinson was the treasurer for the Ellicott School Board. She resigned that position shortly after her arrest.
As a result of the ongoing investigation into this incident, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Stefanie Dickinson on October 19, 2011, charging her with one count of Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust, a class three felony. At about 1:30 pm. October 19, 2011, detectives arrested Ms. Dickenson at her home in Ellicott without incident. She was booked into the Criminal Justice Center and held on $25,000 bond.
