On February 6, 2012, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a request for assistance from the Green Mountain Falls Police Department. The investigation involved allegations of sexual assault on a 13 year old female victim by Michael Broadnax, who was the Program Director at the Axios Girl’s Facility in Green Mountain Falls, at the time of the alleged offense and where the victim was a client of the facility.

On May 25, 2012, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Michael Broadnax on charges of Sexual Assault on a Child by one in a Position of Trust. Broadnax is being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on a $25,000 bond.
