July 20, 2012 – Colorado Springs, CO – The El Paso County Clerk & Recorder’s staff will be at the El Paso County Fair providing citizens with the opportunity to register to vote for the upcoming November Presidential Election.

The Clerk & Recorder’s Office will be working in conjunction with El Paso County and the Citizen Outreach Group to have voter registration available at the County booth at the fair. Clerk & Recorder’s staff will be at the booth to assist voters and answer questions from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day of the fair, July 21 – 28.

“We wanted to be proactive in providing our citizens an opportunity to register to vote and be able to participate in this monumental election,” said Wayne Williams, Clerk & Recorder. 

The deadline to register to vote for the November Presidential Election is Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
