District 1 El Paso County Commissioner Darryl Glenn will host a Town Hall meeting at Colorado Springs Fire Station #19 (Chapel Hills Drive and Research Parkway), on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 10 a.m. to Noon.
The Town Hall meeting will give residents updated information and an opportunity to discuss:
• The status of County Road and Transportation projects within District 1
• An overview of regional economic conditions including employment trends, sales tax collections and critical needs impacting the 2012 and 2013 County Budgets
• A review of 2012 Election including General Election Ballot Questions
This Town Hall meeting will also provide an extensive update for citizens on PPRTA transportation and infrastructure projects within District 1 as well as a presentation outlining projects and improvements included in the proposed PPRTA Extension ballot question.
