Colorado Springs, CO, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 –El Paso County Parks will hold a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, to seek input from the community on the Parks Master Plan, which will guide planning and budgeting for park system improvements, recreational and cultural services facilities and programs for the next five to 10 years.
The meeting will be held at the El Paso County Parks Administrative Offices in Bear Creek Regional Park, 2002 Creek Crossing, just east of the intersection of Rio Grande and 21st Street. Those attending will be asked to identify their priorities regarding a number of issues, including the mission of El Paso County Parks, resource allocation, and what they would like to see El Paso County Parks accomplish in the next decade.
